Fort Delaware State Park is a popular place to film television shows because of its high levels of paranormal activity. It once served as a prison for soldiers from the Confederacy captured during the Civil War. There were war crimes reportedly committed on the grounds, leading to death camps where the spirits still roam the grounds trying to find peace. If you go to the Ellendale State Forest, there is a chance to see a headless figure that wanders along the highway that runs through the area. More accidents happen here per capita than almost anywhere else in the state. Additional tales include a ghostly owner who continues to live in the Cannonball House in Lewes and a structure in Bethany Beach where organ music can be heard, and a bathtub in one of the rooms shakes violently. Haunted houses in Delaware continue the traditions of the paranormal in this state. If you’re ready to have a creepy good time, then choose one of the fantastic locations that you can find here.
