Pennsylvania Haunted Houses
Pennsylvania, known as "The Keystone State." The word "keystone" comes from architecture and refers to the central,
wedge-shaped stone in an arch, which holds all the other stones in place. The application of the term "Keystone State"
to Pennsylvania cannot be traced to any single source. It was commonly accepted soon after 1800.
The many haunted houses have also become a keystone in this great state.

A Nightmare in Nottingham Returns. The Nightmare in Nottingham Manor is a neighborhood home haunt that operates trick-or-treat night and sometimes the night or two after - depending on how ambitious we are. We are free for anyone that shows up. Mostly this ends up being a family gathering for us and we thoroughly enjoy scaring the crap out of all of you. Don’t expect huge animatronics or a midway full of carnival rides and games. We’re small and we like it that way. Besides, I doubt if my neighbors would appreciate a Ferris Wheel being set up in the middle of our street. We don’t accept donations of money or anything else. This way we can continue to be considered amateurs. This the gift that we - the Nottingham Family - give to you our neighbors. Come and see us won’t you?
