New Jersey, known for a distinguished citizen of Camden, Hon. Abraham Browning, he stirred the pride of Jerseymen
by telling them, at the Centennial Exhibition in Philadelphia, on New Jersey Day, August 24, 1876, that our
"Garden State" is like a huge barrel, with both ends open, one of which is plucked by New York and the other by
Pennsylvania.
This Garden State is know for it's indoor and outdoor haunted houses as well.

The Haunted Manor is located in Seaside Heights, NJ. It features a mixture of live actors and one of a kind animatronics. The house opens Easter weekend and runs through Labor Day.

The Waretown Haunted Hayride
The Waretown Haunted Hayride is sponsored by the Waretown Founder's Day Committee and the Waretown Volunteer Fire Company. It is a two-day event featuring skits set in the woods around the Waretown Lake. There are real tractors and trailers with hay bales. Admission is very reasonable (see site for current info)and the money raised helps support the Waretown Founder's Day celebration and the Waretown Volunteer Fire Company. 1400 visitors attended last year's hayride in only two nights! This is due to the """"word of mouth"""" advertising from the prior years. It just gets better each year! It is scary and one of the best amateur hayrides in the South/Central New Jersey area. Last year we scared you, this year we'll scare you to death!
