Illinois Haunted Houses
Illinois, known unofficially as the "Prairie State", a fitting nickname for a state that sets aside the third
full week in September each year as Illinois Prairie Week to demonstrate the value of preserving and
reestablishing native Illinois prairies.
With so much prairie land, fall days are often spent on hay rides or in haunted houses.
Nightmares Basement Of The Dead
This will be our 5th year allowing you to enter this basement of the unholy. Darkness, gore and unspeakable horror await you.

Spider Hill
Three haunted attractions: Haunted house, wagon trail, and walking trail plus souvenirs and childrens activities. Every Friday and Saturday in October join us at Spider Hill at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois from 6:00 to 11:00pm. Make sure you come to the sneak preview on Friday the 13th in September 2002. You won't be able to get Spider Hill out of your mind or nightmares!

Torment At Twelve Hundred
Torment at Twelve Hundred engulfs your senses with a magnitude of fears. From the ¼ mile trail through the woods, to Dr. Vilstein’s new secreted laboratory, and Hidden View Sanatorium, there is nowhere to escape the torment. The torture lasts 35-45 minutes, not including wait time. Open toed shoes and high heels are prohibited! Not recommended for 12 year olds and younger. Torment at Twelve Hundred opens this October for its 5th season. We bid you to see what new encounters await.

Trails of Terror 2008
Wind your way through nearly one-half mile of spine-tingling terror at the Chicago Park District's Trails of Terror. At this year's Trails of Terror visitors will experience the dark side of a deserted town crawling with creepy characters. Enter if you dare the winding corn maze, ghostly cemetery, the bloody red barn, and lots of other bone-chilling surprises! October 24-26 & 29-31 6:30-9:30pm (except Halloween night: 7-9:30pm). $8 ages 8 & up (not recommended for young children) Tickets will not be sold after 9pm. Hotline: 773-262-6157.
